Traditional Methods

The SV5 last was designed in-house for comfort. A wide forefoot ensures ample space, the angled cone mimics the natural shape of your instep and a narrow heel cup prevents heel slippages.

Our shoes are handmade in our Singapore workshop where we use time-honored materials such as a leather heel counter and a thick leather insole, which mould and conform to your feet over time.

In line with traditional shoemaking, these materials ensure that the shoes are not only durable but also become more comfortable over time.

Eco-friendly & Resoleable

Sustainability

Our shoes are designed to be resoleable, extending their life and reducing waste. We consciously select natural materials, avoiding non-biodegradable options like EVA foam and thermoplastics.

Nearly every part of the shoe, including the sole, is made from 100% natural materials. The only exception is the thread, where organic options like linen and cotton do not withstand the elements as effectively.

  • Lactae Hevea Soles

    Lactae Hevea soles are crafted from 100% natural, pure virgin Hevea milk, setting them apart from typical soles that blend synthetic and natural rubber. Their exclusive 12-day curing process creates a unique microstructure of tiny air bubbles, offering a soft, cushiony feel - truly something you have to experience to believe.

  • Handwelted/Cupsole Construction

    Our shoes are meticulously hand lasted and feature either hand-welted or cup sole construction, following a process similar to our bespoke shoe-making up to the hand-welting stage. This ensures a durable, robust build and allows for resoling, extending the life of your shoes for years to come.

  • Eco-friendly & Sustainable

    We consciously avoid using non-biodegradable materials like EVA foam, opting instead for 100% natural materials in almost every part of the shoe, including the sole.

    The only exception is the threads, where organic options such as cotton and linen do not withstand the elements as effectively. This thoughtful approach ensures a sustainable, eco-friendly design without compromising on quality.
